I want to dance with 3D Printer

“I want to dance with 3D Printer”

Mixed Media, 2024

The work was created in response to the AI Recitation: How to Make (Almost) Anything—Almost without Making Anything (*1).

This discrete media object is built around a rotating 3D paste-printer, motion sensors, and a DJ-style controller that lets users interrupt the print in real time. Rather than passively waiting for a print to finish, the project pulls people back into the automated process, inviting them to communicate and co-create with the machine.
